Do not use blades that are worn or damaged, it will set a heat faster which may start a fire.

One should never use fein saw if it start a smoke. Then you have to change the blade possibly use some water.

To all times it shall be neat and tidy around the equipment.

Safety equipment must ALWAYS be used as intended and should therefore NEVER be tampered with.

Is there anything that is related to security that are not in order, then do NOT use the machine / equipment.

Keep hands away from the blade area when the saw is connected.

Allow the engine/blade to get full speed before you begins using it.

Make sure locks and barriers are tight and on before you begin sawing

Unplug before you example you changes blades

  • Never use damaged blades.
  • Do not cut ferrous metals, other metals or masonry

Table Saw


General safety precautions

  • IMPORTANT! According to CE regulations always use adjustable support in the end of the tablesaw.
  • Ensure that there is adequate space around the saw, especially lengthwise.
  • The surface of the saw should be as level as possible to get good stability.
  • Keep the tabletop, blade cover and area around the saw clean from any splinter.
  • Use sawdust extractor when you use the table saw indoor. You must ensure good ventilation. (Emex chip extractor delivered optional.)
  • Use good lighting and use hearing protection and if you work continuously at the chain as use a dust mask.
  • When sawing big items use extra support in the end of the sliding table f. ex. roll buck.
  • Always lower top guard when working.
  • Use push sticks when sawing small work pieces and when it is less than 120 mm between the blade and point of rip.
  • When lunch and turning of the blade, turn the engine off.
  • Lower saw blade when it’s not in use.
  • Always use riving knife. Ask your manager for guidance before adjusting.
  • Remove the plug when changing blades and at other maintenance work.
  • Only blades with carbide teeth should be used. Do not use deformed or cracked blades.
  • After cleaning, blade change and adjustment or replacement, be ensure that blade cover plate is closed.
  • Worn or damaged aluminum edging strips in turntable should be replaced with new ones.
